Adaptive TS in SCCM 2012 R2

Those who have ever tried to build a single task sequence for multiple computer models and brands know that it is not an easy task. It gets even harder when the company has Apple, Lenovo, HP and Dell computers in the same domain.

Well this is exactly what I'm trying to do with my team mate. Here I will be documenting some of the challenges and solutions we have found.

Our setup:

• SCCM 2012 R2
• Dynamic collections (query) for all makes, models, server types, client types etc.
• All systems are running windows 8 and we are migrating to windows 8.1
• Apple HDDs will be formatted by using Apple Deploy Studio.
